Dave Schwichtenberg - Dave, also known to many as Switz, has been with Stellar for over 14 years.  Seven of those years have been spent managing the service department and conducting product service training.  Dave enjoys the day-to-day challenges the service department experiences but mostly enjoys interacting with the Stellar customers, hearing their comments, questions and concerns and making their Stellar experience a positive one.  Dave is a life-time North Iowa resident, where he enjoys golfing, bowling and hunting.  He’s a die-hard Iowa Hawkeye’s fan, and enjoys watching all levels of football in the fall.

Jeff Horstman - Jeff has been part of the Customer Service department for 8 of his 10 years at Stellar.  He specializes in helping the tire service truck and mechanic service truck customers.  Jeff is a farm boy, born and raised here in North Iowa, and brings the hard-work ethic to his desk each and every day.  Jeff, and his wife (who is also a Stellar employee) enjoy watching their three sons participate in football and wrestling. 

Al Kuhlman - Al’s the new kid on the customer service block.  He’s been at Stellar for three years, and in the customer service department for just over a year.  He specializes in compressors, electrical systems, body options and accessories.  Al loves working with the Stellar customer as well as working in such a friendly atmosphere.  The customer service group tries to make each day fun and enjoyable, and with Al, there’s never a dull moment.  Al lives in Garner with his wife and two children.  He enjoys hunting, fishing and roughing it in the outdoors.  He’s also a fan of Iowa Hawkeye wrestling and watches it at every chance he gets.  He also enjoys tinkering with cars and doing a little carpentry.

Randy Milhan - Although some days can be extremely busy and challenging in the customer service department, Randy loves every minute of it.  He’s been part of the Stellar family for 15 years starting out as a welder and working his way through various departments, and spending the last 7 years as a customer service rep.  He truly knows the ins and outs of the Stellar products and has become our Jack of all Trades.  Randy specializes in the demountable products (hooklifts, cable hoists, container carriers), and the X-Tra-Lift, but is cross-trained in all of Stellar’s product lines.  Randy loves the working atmosphere at Stellar, and enjoys all the relationships he continues to build within the walls of Stellar and among the customers.  When Randy’s not involved helping a customer, he can usually be found playing a prank or two on his boss, Switz, or be found leading the group in some detailed stretching exercises.  He’s good at that, as he owns and operates a martial arts school.  He lives in Clear Lake with his lovely wife and their two children.  In what free time he has Randy enjoys riding his Harley, fishing, grilling out and reading a good book.  He also enjoys playing video games with the kids.

Lisa Piklapp  - A die-hard football fan, and a die-hard Stellar employee, Lisa has been with Stellar for almost 10 years.  She’s responsible for handling all warranty claims and return goods.  She loves working with the Stellar customers, and getting to know them and their businesses, as well as having such a great group of co-workers here in Garner.  Lisa loves to swing the golf clubs, ride her Harley and spend time with her daughter and granddaughter.

Dorothy Schaefer  -  Dort is big on customer satisfaction.  She has enjoyed helping the Stellar customer receive their parts orders in a fast efficient manner for three years now, joining Stellar in 2006.   Dort is the Stellar Part’s Order Entry guru and the one to call for your parts and service kits.  She’s an avid dart thrower and is a member of a local dart league.
